5 Florida Beach Hotels That Won’t Break the Budget

Beach vacations are my favorite type of vacation! I love the sandy beaches and the beautiful sunsets at the end of the day. Now, how can we make these beach vacation dreams affordable for the family?

I am here to show you 5 different hotels that are in the state of Florida that will give you that beach vacation vibe, and also not break your family budget. All of these hotels have a few things in common.

  • They are all World of Hyatt properties-meaning if you book an award travel stay, you won’t have to pay the resort fees!
  • They can all be booked with points- Making your vacation even more affordable!

The points for these hotel stays are going to be from my favorite flexible bank cards. That is the code for Chase bank cards that earn you Ultimate Reward points. These points that you earn from these particular cards will transfer to World of Hyatt, and they are the only bank partner. I love these points because Hyatt hotels are my first pick when it comes to hotel locations. I am always looking to earn more of these points, and you can find all the current offers here.

If you are looking to get started on this point journey and want to know where to start to learn more, I have a free beginner resource for you to get you started feeling confident and strong that you can learn something new and travel like never before!

For my example, as we look at these hotels, I am going to use the Favorite Beginner card. This card has welcome offers that range around 60,000 points, but always check the current offer page to get the most current offer. We are going to look at how this one card can earn nights at these different Florida beach hotels.

This is truly an amazing money-saving strategy! Last year, we saved over $20,000 just in hotel and airline flights! CRAZY when I think about how much we can save by using points.

**As we discuss points and costs of hotels, please note that hotels do raise their prices with cash and point stays, so please know the pricing can vary.

This hotel is a family-friendly beach location with calm waters, lots of soft sand, and lots of different restaurants and food places nearby. This resort sits directly on the beach, and many rooms have views of the beautiful gulf. Cost breakdown: Nights start as low as 21,000 points a night or $343 a night. Our example card (my favorite beginner card) gave us a welcome offer of 60,000 points, so for 3 nights at this hotel, you would need 63,000 points, which, after meeting the $4,000 spend on the card to get the welcome bonus, would earn you that resort stay! So you could open this one card and stay at this property for 3 nights for FREE, or you could pay the cash rate and pay $1,029 for the same standard hotel room.
