Two Credit Cards that Earn You World of Hyatt Perks

The World of Hyatt is definitely a favorite of many people who travel on points, including me. They treat their guests so well, and I have had so many positive experiences with this hotel brand!

I have earned the desired World of Hyatt Globalist status, and I have stayed at over 12 of their hotel brands so far! These two credit cards have helped me earn status and earn points for lots of stays. You can learn more about what Globalist status and how you can earn it HERE.

Here are the current World of Hyatt card offers. The personal card is currently not an affiliate link, and sadly, they don’t offer a personal refer-a-friend link either. You will not be able to refer your player 2 using this card. No one talks about this, by the way. I definitely had to call to find out.

If you decide to grab the World of Hyatt business credit card, I would appreciate your support of my page by using my link. Current World of Hyatt Card Offers

World of Hyatt Personal Card Offer

  • Earn up to 65,000 points
  • Earn 35,00 points after a $3,000 spend in 3 months
  • Earn an additional 30,000 points after you spend $15,000
  • Earn 2x on spending during the first 6 months from opening the card
  • Complimentary Discoverist Status
  • Earn 1 Free Cat 1-4 hotel night stay every card anniversary
  • Earn an additional free night after $15,000 spend
  • $95 annual fee

My Take on the Card Offer: Always say that you need your perks to make up for the fee. So this fee is $95 a year, and I know for sure that every year I will earn a category 1-4 free hotel night award. This already makes the card worth it to me!

Category 4 hotels can still cost 15,000-30,000 points, depending on the type of award room you book, which is around $300-$400 for that one night at a category 4 hotel. You will see Hyatt Centric, Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, and some Hyatt Regency locations fall under this category.

It gives you automatic status as a Discoverist, which is the lowest level, but they still take great care of you with rooms that have better views, bottled water, and great service!

Hubby and I both have this card, and we opened them closer together as well, so when our annual fees hit, we get a weekend away either as a family or a couple, and no points are needed!

World of Hyatt Business Credit Card

  • Earn 60,000 points after $5,000 spend in 3 months
  • Earn 1 Free Night Award for Category 1-4 hotels after $15,000 spend is met in the first 6 months of card opening
  • $100 Hyatt Credit each anniversary year
  • 10% redemption bonus if you spend at least $50,000 in a calendar year on the card
  • Immediate Discoverist Status
  • For every $10,000 in spend, you earn 5 tier qualifying nights
  • Up to 9x points for Hyatt stays
  • $199 annual fee
  • Apply for the card HERE

My Take on this Card Offer: This card is great if you want to earn Globalist status. It was part of my strategy to earn qualifying nights from the spend on this card while earning points for future stays.

The downside is not getting a free night every card anniversary, but this is a great card when you have high spending, because you can potentially earn a bonus back at the end of the year.

The $100 credit is broken up into $50 every 6 months, but it auto-activates if you spend money at any Hyatt stay. You can use it for parking, food, and any services charged to your room. It’s super easy to use.

If Globalist status isn’t something you are going for, then I don’t know if this card and a higher annual fee are worth it for your wallet. If you want World of Hyatt status, points, and to save money on your stays, this card can help you get there.

Always remember that you applied for a credit card and are approved to enter it into your Travel Freely app! This will give you the correct reminders of when your annual fee is going to hit, remind you when your spending window is closing so you don’t miss out on points, and it requires no personal card info, so your security is safe! This free app saves me so much time and keeps me organized with my cards, my husband’s, and our businesses!
